Celebrating Client Success at the 2024 PRSA Renaissance Awards

This year's PRSA Pittsburgh Renaissance Awards, held Jan. 25 at the Fairmont Pittsburgh, celebrated the power of storytelling and innovation. It was an evening where remarkable work was recognized, and we couldn't be prouder of the honors that our clients and teams received. Eat'n Park's corporate history, "The Story Behind the Smile", Kingspan Insulated Panels' 2022 Sustainability Report, and our very own "Day in the Life" drone video were shining stars of the evening. Our motto at Pipitone is expect GREAT, and each of these projects lived up to that promise. 

"The Story Behind the Smile" is not just an Eat'n Park history book—it's a tapestry of memories, community impact and smiles shared over 75 years. The book’s narrative, which weaves together vignettes instead of following a traditional chronological path, impressed the judges by painting a vivid picture of Eat’n Park Restaurants and its parent company – Eat’n Park Hospitality Group. The book received a Renaissance Award, with the judges noting its original content and comprehensive storytelling. 

Next, we celebrated Kingspan Insulated Panels' 2022 Sustainability Report, which was given an Award of Merit. This report, developed in partnership with our team, outlines Kingspan's ambitious 10-year sustainability commitment called Planet Passionate. The report's interactive digital format, brought to life with animated graphics and embedded videos, effectively communicated Kingspan's philosophy and progress toward its sustainability targets. We are proud to play a role in showcasing Kingspan's dedication to sustainability.

Our own "Day in the Life" drone video also received an Award of Merit, standing as a testament to our commitment to exploring innovative ways to tell stories. This drone-shot video offered a unique perspective on life at Pipitone, but more importantly, it demonstrated our relentless pursuit of creativity and innovation for our clients' benefit. 

Last but most certainly not least, we were thrilled to see our esteemed client Frank Schiffman, Marketing Manager at Westlake Water Solutions, inducted into the PRSA Pittsburgh Renaissance Hall of Fame for his decades-long legacy of inspired communication, strategic vision and leadership. 

Frank's significant contributions to the industry have not only shaped the success of Westlake Water Solutions but have also influenced the broader PR landscape. His induction into the PRSA Pittsburgh Hall of Fame underscores the impact he has made throughout his illustrious career. We're proud to work alongside such a distinguished professional and congratulate him on this well-deserved honor.
